Earlier this week, Lady HotchKiss and boy passed a milestone. It is one year since boy surrendered control to Her. boy knew that She was Someone special from the moment he met Her for lunch at the Georgia Diner. She walked in with such confidence, self- awareness and a touch of elegance that, though boy had never seen Her before, knew that it must be Her. During the course of the lunch, She drew boy in, fascinated boy, in much the way boy imagines a black-widow spider luring in a potential mate. by the time the lunch was over boy was enraptured.  Afterward, boy could do little but think of Her and later that day, offered provisional surrender to Her…a way of getting to know each other better to find if we fit, before a more final surrender. As She said, there have been many memorable moments during the course of this first year, though the ones that have most impact on boy differ from the ones that had most impact on Her. The one event we share as significant was the first use of Her strap-on. boy lost his mind that day, at least temporarily. Another huge day was the day HotchKiss tested boy for termination of his provisional status. if boy passed, his surrender was to become permanent. boy was incredibly nervous as the appointed time approached. The session turned out to be more than a test of yoga poses, it also became an endurance test and a test of boy’s ability to handle pain. boy passed the test and spent the rest of that week on cloud nine. In April, HotchKiss shocked boy half out of his wits by offering Ownership to boy. This was a much more significant step as it entailed not just submission…but slavery! The import of this was (and is) huge in boy’s mind. With submission one chooses to submit to another’s will. And that choice is made each time the will of the Other is expressed. With slavery, the choice is made but once and the Other’s will becomes the will of the slave.  There have been other momentous occasions during the course of the year (first sub-drop, first sub-space, dungeon construction, etc.), but they pale in comparison to those outlined here. And boy is certain there will be more memories made as W/we continue down this path, and as boy discovers more of his nature.

Service Slave vs Sensual Slave

This is another of those areas where it is more of a continuum than an either/or definition. Of course there are those who are strictly service slaves as well as those who are strictly sensual slaves, but the vast majority are a combination of the two. boy identifies primarily as a service slave and derives great pleasure from performing chores that his Owner finds onerous, boring, time-consuming, or otherwise unwilling to perform Herself. However, that does NOT mean that boy does not appreciate and enjoy the occasional sensual session, whether it’s given as a reward for good service, simply because She wants to,or because She perceives that boy has a need for one. And boy believes it is that way for most slaves. Most sensual slaves have chores, even if it just a command to get the owner a glass of water after a session, there is service involved. boy falls more towards the service side of the continuum.

During the past month or so, boy has been heavily involved in converting a room of his Owner’s house into a dungeon. boy has been painting walls and ceilings, removing wallpaper and carpeting, removing carpet glue, painting the floor, building a cabinet and hanging decorations. boy  has been very happy during this time as he perceives that he is fulfilling a necessary purpose and can see the progress of the project on an almost daily basis. And boy’s Owner is very vocal about Her appreciation of boy’s efforts, all of which feeds boy’s submissive nature.

Having said all that, boy is anxiously awaiting his next sensual session!
